3 Advanced MSF Combat Calculators Beyond Static MSF.gg Data
Interactive models for Iso-8 synergy, Raid time pressure, and Crimson Gear allocation โ with transparent assumptions instead of pretending a simple formula is a perfect combat simulation.
Why another MSF calculator?
Static databases are useful for looking up characters, gear and known values. A calculator has a different job: take the values you provide, expose the assumptions, and turn them into a decision model.
This page focuses on three questions that are difficult to answer from a simple lookup table:
Important: model, not game telemetry
These calculators are analytical models. They do not read the live MSF combat engine, access private game telemetry, or guarantee an in-game outcome.
Use the output to compare scenarios and identify bottlenecks. For exact game mechanics, verify the underlying mechanic against current in-game behavior and reliable community documentation.
What this page adds
| Question | Lookup-style information | Interactive model |
|---|---|---|
| Iso-8 setup | Shows class effects and character information. | Models Skirmisher/Striker balance and cycle assumptions. |
| Raid time | Shows enemies, teams and mode information. | Estimates turns, animation overhead and time remaining under adjustable assumptions. |
| Crimson Gear | Shows gear/material requirements. | Produces a transparent allocation index based on role, mode and scaling assumptions. |
1. Iso-8 Skirmisher / Striker Synergy Model
Compare Vulnerable-generation coverage against the number of Strikers in your five-person team.
2. Raid 5-Minute Time-Pressure Simulator
Estimate whether your damage and animation assumptions can fit inside the five-minute combat limit.
3. Crimson Gear Allocation ROI Model
Compare a scarce-material investment using explicit role, mode, scaling and scarcity assumptions.
Mechanics: what is known vs. what is modeled
Documented
Use this category for mechanics that can be supported by current game documentation, patch notes, or repeatable in-game testing.
Observed
Community or player testing can reveal repeatable behavior, but observations should still be treated as evidence rather than automatically as official documentation.
Modeled
The calculators on this page make explicit assumptions. Their numbers are scenario estimates, not direct measurements of Scopely’s combat engine.
Alliance Challenge: compare your scenarios
Run the same team assumptions through the three models, screenshot the results, and compare the assumptions and bottlenecks with your alliance. The interesting part is not who gets the biggest score โ it is which input changes the result and why.
